- In 1999, begins to do some work during free time at the workshop with her father, Master Firmino Adão Canhoto and her brother João Canhoto.
- From 06/12/2000 to 28/12/2001, takes the course of Art of Working with Wood.
- 2001, attends Teacher Training Course for Trainers.
- 2001, training in Furniture Stuffing.
- 2002, training in Painting and Gold Plating.
- 2002, beginning of activity at the Atelier de Móveis d’Arte Canhoto, where operates in the areas of restoration, mulching, painting, gold plating and inlay wooden work.
- 2004, participation in the restoration of the Historic Organ Box of the Parish of S. Pedro dos Grilhões, Azueira – Mafra.
- 2006, obtained the Handicraft Production Unit, awarded by the National Commission for the Promotion of Crafts and Craft Micro-enterprise.
- 2006, obtained the Craftsman Card, awarded by the National Commission for the Promotion of Crafts and Craft Micro-enterprise.
- Has participated in Exhibitions on a regular basis, where live demonstrations of work is made.
